Not so long ago, choosing to get a degree from home seriously limited your career options. Paralegal Diploma Program
For the student who wishes to begin work immediately, this program offers a fast track to beginning your legal career. Core legal courses such as Contracts and Torts are emphasized here, along with the basic writing and computer skills necessary to get you started in a law office.

Associate of Arts Degree Program
For the student who wishes the fullest experience in paralegal studies or for those working in the legal fields that are looking for that extra help for a promotion or pay raise, our Associate Degree program is the perfect educational opportunity. IVU offers two Associate Degree Programs. The Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies, which includes the complete Paralegal Studies program and the entire general education requirement for an Associate Degree.

Additionally, students who already have a legal background or need a degree to advance in their career, IVU offers the Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies. The General Studies Program provides the student with a well-rounded educational foundation which could allow the student to advance their career or move on to other educational goal.

Online students will be using the same textbook and be provided the same faculty support. Students will communicate with faculty via telephone, email, or fax. It is IVU's goal that the quality and integrity of the program will not be lost. The eCourseroom was designed to meet the unique needs of students like you who are both highly motivated and capable of completing a degree program through distance learning. Our faculty and administration have been very involved in distance learning and understand the characteristics common to successful students in this unique educational environment. This course will allow you to see what components are involved in an online course.

Courses are asynchronous, so you can log in anytime. You always have your textbook to reference. You can move at your pace. Typically, students take anywhere from 1 - 3 months to complete a course.
