Welcome
Thank you for your interest in IVU. Whether you are considering
a diploma or undergraduate or graduate degree program, or
simply want to learn more about IVU, welcome!
On-site
prospective applicants should visit the school facility. During
the visit our representative will give a tour of IVU and provide
detailed information on our programs and policies, and discuss
the applicant's qualifications to meet their career objectives.
At this time the applicant will be given the facts and figures
relating to our Financial Assistance Programs. Should an applicant
request to transfer credits, an official transcript must be
provided at least one month prior to enrollment to allow for
review.
Correspondence
and Online prospective applicants will be sent, either
by regular mail or online at the student's choice, a complete
package outlining the program procedures and policies. They
will also be provided with an application for admission and
a standardized test. Should an applicant request to transfer
credits, an official transcript must be provided at least
one month prior to enrollment to allow for review. Additionally,
the applicant will be given the facts and figures relating
to our Financial Assistance Programs. The student must return
the completed application and test for consideration.
Undergraduate
Diploma or Degree Program Admission
In order to be admitted, a prospective student must:
- Provide
evidence of high school graduation, G.E.D. completion or
the approval of the Director.
- Pass
a standardized test given to all applicants for all IVU
programs.
- Complete
enrollment interview.
- Execute
the following documents:
a. Application form, b. Enrollment Agreement, c. Course
Request Form, d. Financial Assistance Form (if requested)
- Complete
orientation session
Upon successful completion of the above conditions the student
will be formally admitted.
Graduate
Degree Program Admission
In order to be admitted, a prospective student must:
- Provide
evidence of completion of at least sixty (60) college semester
units (54 of those of substantive academic content) at an
accredited or state approved college or university. This
is in accordance with Rule VII, Section 1, of the Rules
Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California.
- Pass
a standardized test given to all applicants for all IVU
programs.
- Complete
enrollment interview.
- Execute
the following documents:
a. Application form, b. Enrollment Agreement, c. Course
Request form, d. Financial Assistance form (if requested)
- Complete
orientation session
Upon successful completion of the above conditions the student
will be formally admitted.
